Word From The Producer
For many years, it has been my prayer and desire to make the Holy Bible more accessible to Igbo-speaking people around the world. This vision gave rise to the Igbo Audio Bible — a complete audio recording of both the Old and New Testaments in the Igbo language.
This project was developed to enable people of all ages and backgrounds to listen to the Word of God in a language that speaks directly to their hearts. Whether at home, at work, while travelling, or during moments of prayer and reflection, listeners can access the Scriptures through their mobile phones, tablets, or computers.
The Igbo Audio Bible is intended to serve Igbo-speaking communities across the world, including elderly persons, individuals with limited literacy skills, people living with visual impairments, members of the diaspora, and younger generations seeking to maintain a connection with their faith, language, and cultural heritage.
More than a collection of audio recordings, this project is an effort to make the message of the Gospel available to a wider audience while preserving and promoting the Igbo language at the same time. Through regular updates and continued development, it is our hope that this platform will remain a valuable spiritual resource for present and future generations.
My sincere prayer is that every listener will be encouraged in faith, strengthened in hope, inspired to live according to God's Word, and empowered to share the Good News with others. May this work contribute, in its own small way, to bringing more people closer to God and to deepening the faith of Igbo-speaking Christians throughout the world.
